FINALLY, they have announced a hands on for the PVP in GW2! Not only that, but you will also be able to play the asura and sylvari in their higher level demo as well.

FINALLY! Though it sounds like they're probably doing mostly arena type pvp, but we'll see. Any pvp info at this point is greatly appreciated. I can finally relax. Was getting really worried about the pvp without any information being released yet.
Just found out confirmation of two things that will be of interest:
#1 Arena based pvp will be shown at Gamescon and PAX (not WvWvW sadly).
#2 Closed/Open Beta signups will NOT be at Gameson or PAX.

Boohoo...But at least we do still get to see some PvP. Just not exactly the information a lot of us wanted to see.

While I was seriously hoping they would put on a small demo of how the WvWvW was going to work, I suppose they wouldn't have enough people to give it any serious justice. At least we'll be able to see how the pvp itself will play out with arena, because that's the most important aspect for WvWvW being worth anything anyhow.
