ncsoft master account blocked?

I have a $25 gamestop gift card and thought I might pick up eye of the north for my account today. Before I did that, I wanted to see if I could still load the game so I updated the client and tried to log in. I couldn't seem to get the password right, so I went to the ncsoft site. After putting in my password it asked for my security answers, then asked if I wanted to add my IP address to the list. After I said yes, I was put back to the login site and told that my account had been permanently blocked? I put a ticket in, but noticed that Guild Wars is not a supported game any longer - only Guild Wars Europe? Any ideas what has happened to Guild Wars, or is it gone?

Guild Wars is still in the US/North America, though not sure why it wouldn't show up on the NCSoft site. Hopefully Support is able to assist with getting your account unlocked, I haven't heard of this situation happening before. :P

Pnub had a nightmare reactivating his GW account when we were playing recently. I cannot remember what happened but it took agggggges to sort out. Perhaps speak to him in-game.

well, I don't know what exactly the account was banned for (probably hackers - I hadn't changed the password since the account was created back in 2006) but thanks to an email from support I'm now back. And guildless in Guild Wars. Think tomorrow or Monday I'm going to pick up Eye of the North if I can remember how to play this game!

Glad you got the account "back." Hopefully, all the characters weren't cleaned out. Also, and kinda off topic, is the Gaiscioch GW1 guild still active?

If by active you mean still exists, then yes. Ever since Iso and I got all the HoM rewards we wanted for GW2, I only go back for a few JQ runs now and then for some PVP. Other then that, I never see anyone on when I'm around, though some do seem to still log in about once a week or so.

I was playing GW1 a bit as well as Oldroar and Gabale. We all got burnt out a bit. We'll be going back I'm sure to get some HoM stuff done once we have a better idea when GW2 is coming out.

Have had issues with this as well. Pain in the tuckus.
