"Question #128: Is there any collision detection for pvp? Is it also possible to use the environment to 'block' certain attacks. For example, a caster may have an ability that takes 3 seconds to finish. That caster starts the attack on me, but I decide to move behind a pillar. Will the ability finish? Answer: there is some collision in WvW and you can also use the terrain to your advantage. Knocking players off cliffs, using a tree as cover, jumping into water from a very high cliff, these are just some of the things you can do!" Interesting.
worried about the map caps - how large will they be? could really hinder family activities :(
The caps can be a good thing, it will force arenanet to up their game and we might see them focusing more on the PvP content because of us :D
The last cap they tested up to was about 300. Some said they were aiming for a 500 cap. While it may hinder some activities, it can't be helped as they have to consider server stability.
Don't forget there are 4 maps to choose from as well. Even if we aren't fighting for the same map, it doesn't mean we still can't play with other family members.
300 total or 300 per side were tested last, Velad?
