At long last we can finally prepurchase the game. I finally got through the purchase and syncing part which was a headache lol
Who else is pre-purchasing as well? Was getting alot of 502 errors for a while when trying to sync with my GW account

Mine is done, yay. An expensive month with GW2, TERA and Diablo 3 to buy ....I need to work on making my days last 48 hours! Hopefully the release is not rushed, I would rather wait for perfection than have an inferior product to QQ about :)

Pre-order bought - I did the Digital Deluxe also =) I am attempting to complete the Walking Gods unlocks in GW1 for the roll over into GW2. I hope I can complete by the time it launches... Who is the guild contact in GW1?
Took a while but I finally got my order through (highly recommend avoiding the use of Internet Explorer). Ended up ordering the Digital Deluxe. Collectors was really tempting, but ultimately I'd rather spend that extra money on getting a copy for my wife (she didn't really take to Warhammer or Rift, so I'm really hoping Guild Wars 2 will be the one to finally hook her).
hey guys im confused on something here, ive been signed up with guildwars.guru for awhile now. today i just prepurchaed the game (4-10-12) and got my code for beta/ealry entry and all, ok i know i have to register this code, but does the guildwarsguru forums link with this code or will i have to create a seperate account and get this registered, thks guys, any help would be great, i just dont wanna mess up registering this thing and everything goes to hell on me, to be honest with you all, the problems theyve had today with different retailers im a little scared.
Got mine in, really wanted the CE but could barly come up with the money for the normal.... Oh well I still get the game and thats the important part.
Liljoe, The GW2 game has nothing to do with guildwarsguru as far as I know. (I could be wrong of course hehehe) You either need to create a GW2 account or link it to an existing GW1 account (email) I linked mine to my original GW1 account so I would get some in game bonuses for GW2 and to reserve my names heheh If you never played GW1 though, you would have to create a new account (unless you were in a previous beta) to my understanding.
Buhsi, I read somewhere that they will let you upgrade from standard to deluxe in an article somewhere. You may still yet be able to get that :) I know it isn't the CE, but we couldn't afford that one either heheh

The email you get for confirmation should also have the info on how to make sure your account is set up. Mine is liked to my GW1 account even if I know not much will roll over as little perks in game for GW2. ::chuckles:: It just makes all the stuff I have with NCSoft easier to coordinate having them all linked. Also, I just went with Digital Deluxe. Most of the CE perks above digital were out of game extra goodies, so I decided not to bother. I did want the in game perks that can help boost guild influence and such that came with the deluxe.
I pre-ordered and do plan to play with Family. My time may not be free right at release but that's OK! See you all soon'ish.

@bushi i wouldn't worry about the the deluxe stuff. really. i ordered deluxe Rift (or whatever it was called) and never really ran w/ my deluxe vanity pets.
Yep, pre-ordered here too. I only got to play a little with this Guild on Warhammer Online. Can't wait to actually be active with you guys on Guild Wars 2. Just wondering, when the Beta weekends rolls around, will the Guild be doing anything exciting besides Beta testing?
3 more weeks of plasma before i can get it completly prepaid but im getting there for my CE:)

Any idea when the beta weekends start? The website states "late April". Didn't know if anyone that pre-purchased has anymore insight =D
prepurchased my Digital Deluxe edition (with the wife's approval). No word on exactly what "late April" means other than that would either mean the 20th or the 27th... No idea what to do with the CD key they emailed me, but my account is all nice and linked to my GW account and registered at their very preliminary site.
Even the bloody stuffed animal is epic haha. For beta weekend just look to the forums they have. I'm sure it won't be to hard to find a gaiscioch or two or hundred. Anyone achin for the beta with some free time on their hands should think about joining out knitting club and be part of the ground zero team that's going to prepare our family for gw2 and bigger and better things. Trust me. Your gonna want to be involved. Takes a min of 2 hrs per week but its well worth it.
Thanks for the info, but I really only wanted the CE for the rylock action figure. Really want the stuff toy too. LOL not only do i love cats, but I love Rylocks charactor in the book as well.

Purchased through Amazon. I used the link through the guild website. I made 2 seperate purchases going to 2 seperate shipping addresses. I have not gotten a code yet on either e-mail account. The only new messages are the auto notify from amazon. I noticed that the official website shows sold out for everything except the collector's edition. :{ I hope the pre-purchases through the other retailers count :} Finners and toes Crossed!!!!!!
You have to register your GW2 account to be added to the list, if you did that then you should be in. Hopefully we will see you in game as well. When you register you get a confirmation email saying your userid.XXXX (a 4 digit number) When you receive that email that's the last step before waiting for the beta invite.
