It's the time of year again. I'll be at PAX at the end of the month, send me your GW2 questions now.

So I get to go to PAX after all.

And just like last year, I'll probably try to harass... errr talk to a few devs about any questions I/you want answered.  I don't have that many just because I've played a few betas already, but I do have a few:

1. Are there definite plans to have guild housing and/or playing housing in the future?

2. Are we going to see any big cross country WvW warfare or is it strictly going to be American vs American servers or Euro vs Euro WvW server fights?

Send me your questions asap (by replying to this thread) so I can have as many good questions as possible before I go.

One thing to remember is to check wiki.guildwars2.com to make sure the answer isn't already out there; I don't really want to ask questions that are already known if I can help it. 

Are there plans to implement a barber shop/character re-customization option in the future?

I shall write 10. 1. Are the Plans to do Special events similar to end beta weekend events? 2. Whats going to be the coolest vanity item. 3. Whats going to be the funnest vanity item. 4. What emotes are there going to be. 5. When can we dance? 6. Are they going to add or take anything away from WvW. 7. What are their favorite professions. 8. any plans to make SUPER ultra rare drops from mobs. 9. What is their favorite crafting 10. When they play the game do they get SUPER powers?

I'd consider drivin up to PAX myself, but there's a game coming out about that time that I wanna play instead >.> I'm interested if they've considered making available different 1-5 skills for the weapons/professions, that maybe characters could buy with skill points or earn some other way.

Well those that are in Seattle at the time might be able to go to a little Launch Party im working on getting us into ;). But if you wanna just sit at home and play while were getting drunk with the devs thats ok too ;P.

Vamp. can they make fonts larger for the chat boxes? I have it turned up as large as it will go and still hard to read. Have heard others say same thing. 8(

GW2 Wiki I remember seeing this about player housing in the above link Although I think you are refering to more of a dedicated player housing rather than an instanced one that changes as your story changes. My question falls along the lines of instanced player housing. I was wondering if there would be any instanced RP areas. Granted GW2 has so many places for RP to take place that its kind of petty of me to ask if there are going to be any instanced ones. Side note: I can remember back to my EQ2 days where some players would decorate their houses into Wizards Lair's, Taverns, Wedding Chapels, Torture Chambers, and on and on. It made the RP quite interesting to say the least

Yeah your home instance =/= player housing. Which is too bad honestly. When I first found out about home instance back last summer, I thought for sure it was going to be an interesting way to do player housing. Sadly no. @Superherogeorge, I think most of those we know already. 1. Yes 2. 2h legendary great sword (not vanity per se) 3. Pirate clothes (did you know you get your own cannon?) 4. There's a list on GW2 wiki. 5. At launch is when apparently they'll let us see the /dance emote. 6. I imagine I'll get a dev politcal response for this one such as "we're always changing things" or "yes" 7. I can definitely ask this one. 8. I've heard rumors they may do this for dungeon bosses, but mystic items also drop randomly (ie maxed out level 80 items). 9. I'll have to ask. 10. When they play normally or as devs? @AimyMulch I can find out. I'm not overly optimistic though. @Jexia I can see if I can find out. That could be really handy for folks with non perfect eye sight. @RustedCrown Instanced RP places eh? That's a pretty good idea. I'll ask.

1. Will the "Bard" class they joked ever be a reality? (I like musical classes) 2. Can we throw pies at other players? (we can already throw cows at them tho...might be a downgrade) 3. What timeframe can we expect an Announcment regarding the first expansion (too soon to ask?) In all seriousness tho: 1: Will there be a WoW style authenticator? (specifically a NON-MOBILE App) 2: Will the game ever be available on steam as GW1 is. 3: Could they make the ground targetable skills option to autocast on your current target? (I hear double tapping works, but not for me) I honestly can't think of any more. I'm not too fond of the transmutation stone system, but its prolly the best solution to the appearance system, and they make money off it, so win win. Mounts would be nice, but then WvW might be thrown off balance with a higher trickle of reinforcements.

@#1 I think that's probably the most important question I've seen so far (if they'll have an authenticator). It was in the back of my mind, but I didn't think to ask about it. Glad you brought it up Wolfie. If all else fails and they don't have an authenticator, make sure to use a really complicated password that you've never used for anything else. Something like this: ArSoUiRrAr#a1w Anyone see what I did thar? :P (Basically lots of lower/upper case and at least 10 characters or longer in length.)

I also use leetspeak L33t 5p&ak for passwords. It takes a bit of getting use to but after while to becomes second nature.

Will there be an overhaul of the Theif's initiative resource? It feels like it really limits the Theif in so many ways. With other classes, your secondary resources are complimentary. Warriors adrenaline, Elementalist's Attunement switching, Necromancer's Life Force, Guardians virtues, Engineer's F1-F4 skills from healing/utility skills, Ranger's Pet and, Mesmer's Illusion's. None of these limit their respective classes and just provide something complimentary to their playstyle. It does not detriment their primary weapon skills. With the Thief however, your secondary resource is NOT complimentary. You can only perform your weapon skills depending on how much initiative you have. With other classes, they can weapon swap and get four skills to use that aren't on cooldown, with the Thief it doesn't matter because it all depends on how much initiative you have. There's no consistent play with the Thief because you're at the mercy of your initiative recharge. It's my opinion that the Thief needs an overhaul so that it's secondary resource can be a positive and not a negative.

Ha! yes the first two seconds with thief are wonderful and then ... just waitin for more initiative dots. I also felt that way in GW1, watching autoattack, waitin on more blue-bar to be able to do a skill. On the other hand, the other professions have to wait on recharge of the individual skills.

* How soon will free trials be available? We have some members who want to try-before-buy.

Oh Free Trials question is a good one. A follow-up is to ask if/when they'll have things like Ascend-a-Friend, where we get nifty perks and goodies for getting friends into the game.
