Before I start rambling thred to thread. I thought I might take a moment and define what I mean when I say a few things. Sorry if this has been done. Feel free to link me to other threads.
wvw or wvwvw: Being objective.
Doing what I can do help my server dominate other servers via controlling and or holding the map. This might be through supporting the zerg or coordinating specifici resource or point objectives. With a goal towards area control.
pvp or gank: Hurting them.
To put it simply. To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of their women. Yes my bias shows. It is neither better nor worse than anything else. Just a style.
spvp: Got 10?
Scenarios. Ladder. Arena. Tournament and hot join play. Queuing with a group. Two ways to do this. Either we pick a single person to run the group and do everything they say, or ... I have no idea what other people do.
pve: taking a nap.
Doing a structured AI thing. Be it 10 min or 4 hours. I appologise before hand for any lack of attention paid here. It's not you, it's me. I really thought I saw that bit of paint drying.
pvE: no really, this is a cool encounter!
Did you know that Richard Feynman had a really cool theory about how a single electron could be responsible for the entire universe? Oh, sorry we died there.
craftin: Roarq softly mewls into the back of your throa... er...
Depending on how those idiots on the other side of the server did their job this could be really importent. Never disturb someone making things for all of us. Unless crafting sucks.
