GUILD WARS 2: Update Your Profiles

If you plan to play Guild Wars 2 when it's release please take a moment to mark it off on your "Edit Profile" page so that we know who is interested in playing. WHEN and IF we get approached for Beta we'll be using this list to bring people in. If you are not marked as planning to play with the family there you will not be included in the list. Lets get ready. We know their doing Closed Beta Tests now and we want to be ready for when they ask.

Click "Guild Wars 2" under Active Membership to become eligable

Check this list to see if your name is included. If not you need to update your profile.

P.S. If you want to speed matters up for us be sure your Full Name, Email Address, Real Birthday, and Country are all filled in. Those are the typical things you need to apply to beta's and I want to be able to pull the whole list and export it for them.

Done. Looking through the Alumni list below is a bit bittersweet. Really hope to see some of those guys returning when Guild Wars 2 eventually rolls around.

There are two check marks, one for that you used to play GW2 and one for currently playing. Check both just to be sure.

Tenebrae and I both checked our GW2 boxes. Both our kids will be joining us in the gaming world when GW2 comes out too. They are real excited, and have been asking us for 3 months "how much longer?" heh heh

I had a dream last night that I was beta testing GW2. Maybe it's a premonition :p

Looking forward to it, both of our kids will also be joining Rayvenne and I in GW2. They are very excited, both played with Gaiscioch in Warhammer and are looking forward to a return.

I keep asking my hubby when is it coming out. Already have 2 copies paid for. /cheer! Need something else to play. Love Rift but GW 2 looks awesome. Kittara

ive been waiting for GW2 for very very long time as im sure we all have, now that 2012 is here it cant be that much longer till beta then release. all the info ive been getting from Gamestop which is where ive bought my copy alrdy there telling me to look out for a 3Q release,crossong my fingers,ive been studying the Thief as much as i can. looks like a fun toon, also you can find info on G4tv.com Liljoe.

Seriously looking forward to GW2. For anyone looking for good place to get GW2 info/forums, check out guildwars2guru.com and guildwars2pvp.com. Now...to figure out what class to play... Elemental or Mesmer or Ranger....oh...Thieves look cool too...too many cool choices!

LOL I have had my toon (at least one of them) set up in my head for months. Now I just want to play with toon creation to figure out how he will look. PS I hope that his name fits, 16 spaces isn't that long?

Boxes checked and I'm on the list. If you're willing to drag along a total GW newbie, I'm there! The first one just didn't hold my interest for than a couple of levels both times I tried it, but GW2 looks too exciting not to try. I miss Warhammer and running in the big Gaiscioch family raid tactics pvp.

Been waiting for GW2 since I retired from Rift raiding. I'm looking forward to experiencing it with Gaiscioch, as I enjoyed raiding and playing with a great lot of them as a member of Dragons of Eternity. I never got to play with the group in WAR but my friend tells me it was quite the sight and effort, so I'm eager to see WvWvW in action. I have a soft spot for GW and GW2 seems to fix everything about the original I didn't like, hehe (instances everywhere!)

According to this http://www.arena.net/blog/dragon beta for press members will be starting in February, and then over March and April they'll have open beta "events," testing out some parts of the game during weekends. With beta in April I'm expecting a summer release, depending on how long they plan to polish after that.

More i read about it the more excited i am. I dont know the Dev team but i am assuming they havesome serious mmo play time amongst them the list of what is different about GW2 seems like a list of all thethings that pee people off about every other mmo. The dreaded waiting for healer ...gone The OMG you stole my mob/invasion craftingmaterial...gone The Boomba needs rat tails get me 10...Bomba needs ten more rat tails....gone But i can wait..twitch ..seriously ..Beta is soon isnt it ..twitch

/updated ~ been waiting for GW2 for a bit. focusing on learning lore and building a legacy. joined up with the family in Gaiscioch Na Anu [GnA] today. thanks to Qe (Naayara Shakti in GW) for logging multiple times and pointing the way. also thanks to Warrior of Valhalla for helping with the mats for the AR60 EotN set. time to get the Asuran! excited to see many more of the family coming to GW for the Legends of Guild Wars series and to begin filling their Hall of Monuments with oodles of shinies. *shameless gloating screenshot below* some of the achievements are intense! LDoA was certainly the most challenging title i've earned in an MMO. ArenaNet has done a great job with the Guild Wars series. And Hall of Monuments is a reward for all those who view the time invested in their hobby with pride. thanks ahead of time to guild leadership for using what influence you have to gain beta keys for the family.

Haven't played with y'all in a bit since I left Rift, been playing SWTOR to keep busy. So looking forward to GW2; will see you there for sure. I assume the server will be announced once that is known on launch day or before if they have early access. The WvW looks amazing.

Just looking at all the replies gives me goosebumps. WvW can't come soon enough. ./thinks back to the RvR days in WAR Good times...Good times...

Woot updated. :-D CANNOT wait for Guild Wars 2. I'm just excited for this to come out and I'm also excited to be with the family while we explore this lovely new game.

Woot just watched a new video preview, via email/facebook, and its awesome, looks like they added new graphics, and there shader is nicer.
