Gideon,
Thank you for the input. I hear what you are saying, and agree completely. I am interested to learn more from you about Kinesiology. I don't know much about it, but it always has caught my interest.
I started with P90x, and saw the best results. But after 2 rounds, I hit a plateau (in size loss and weight loss).
At some point, I stopped working out completely since I could no longer afford the 1.5 hours/day that P90x demands. Last year I switched to T25, and in a short period of time (and working out only 30 min/day), I experienced incredible size/weight loss.
After starting to plateau with T25, I purchased P90x3, which is mostly weight lifting. At this point, I was replacing fat with muscle, and noticed minimal size and weight change. But, the weight lifting was a good feeling; especially being able to do pull ups for the first time in a long time.
While weights is a good start, I think its also good to 'mix it up'. Switch between weight lifting, cardio, etc. I am curious how effective a hybrid workout would be. Maybe do weight lifting in the AM, and cardio in the PM.
If I had the time, I would do the 1.5 hours/day that P90x demands. But I'm lucky to find 30 minutes/day to work out, and that's why I like P90x3 and T25.
