Yes, for those who were around during the ESO conversation, this recipe is in honor of our discussion which resulted in 'Baked Brie' due to Briseadh's comments about baking.
Baked Brie is a dessert dish. It is reminiscent of smores, although the dish has a slightly more earth flavor.
Ingredients:
1 8 oz package of Brie.
1/4 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
Topping ingredients:
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1/2 teaspoon pumpkin spice mix.
Misc:
Bread or graham crackers (bread makes the taste milder, so graham crackers are a better choice for a rich dessert, while bread is better for a moderate flavor.)
Directions:
Remove rind from Brie. Place cheese minus rind in bowl. Add other main ingredients to bowl. Mix main ingredients together.
Place bread or graham crackers on a baking sheet. Evenly spread mixture on top. Mix the topping and set aside.
Bake at 350 degrees until the mixture is getting bubbly, but not yet browning or frothing.
Take out of oven and sprinkle the topping mixture on. Once done, set back in the oven for ~5 minutes.
Serve warm, or reheat. Enjoy!
