As usual, I know how to drive my internet provider absolutely nuts to the point I get the full story. So here is the low down on how the next few months will work for me. I have planned on doing things in GW2 again though my primary is ESO, but this will be based on how well the internet is working if I go to an event or stay for all of it. I definitely won't be planning anything like I thought of possibly doing because even with a stable schedule for my job, the intermittent issue has had me shift it later at times this week.
Anyway, I live in the boonies and a lot of city people that come up and spend a lot of time here for the summer are back and have their service back on an already overloaded service. Whomever gets the bandwidth first, wins.
Fiber is coming, but it's suddenly delayed due to the fiber producer being behind the 8 ball and the fiber cable is on back order. They got some of it to do a start at least, but this definitely pushes the timing of when it gets to me to later fall at best.
So for July and August I think things are going to be pretty up and down randomly, but some of this will settle down when the kids go back to school and summer is over for the city folk up here.
Good note - I'll have fiber in my house as a holiday present!
Just letting you all know that I was consistently on before though random at times, it will be even more random. Also, there may be a greater chance of me not being on RC at the same time depending on what bandwidth I'm getting. Sometimes when the internet crashes it makes my wireless router get all hung up, too. For the moment I took the wireless router out of the picture just so it can't get cranky on me. I need to put RC on the desktop also since I haven't bothered with that since I replaced the hard drive in May.
