Antre of Adjournment

All thanks and credit goes to Dorre for this tip, but I didn't want to go too far off-topic in the other thread so I'm making a new one. For those of us that want to get some quick, easy crafting mats, and have made it to Malchor's Leap, Antre of Adjournment is a jumping puzzle that has several pirate loot boxes in addition to the final chest. I just wanted to make this thread to track the mats I get from the boxes and maybe see how random it is. Who knows, hopefully it can help someone get that last elusive mat they need for a new weapon or something ;p

Run 1

On the way there:

2 Omnomberry

2 Mithril

1 Lotus

In chests:

5 Butter

1 Banana

1 Large Claw (325)

1 Chocolate Bar

2 Red meat

1 Coral Tentacle (325)

End Chest:

1 Cheap blue - npcs for about a silver

So altogether, not bad, not great. Roughly 15 silver if I sold everything. For 10min total time invested, it definately seems like it holds some promise.

Run 2 On the way there: 2 Omnomberry 2 Mithril 1 Lotus In chests: 1 Pile of Crystalline Dust (400) 1 Large Scale (300) 1 Large Claw (325) 4 Butter 1 Banana 2 Chocolate 1 Vicious Fang (400) End Chest: Another 1s blue

Run 3 Trip there: 2 Omnomberry 3 Mithril 1 Orichalcum 1 Cypress Chests: 1 Large Bone (300) 1 Incandescent Dust (325) 1 Large Scale (300) 2 Intricate Totems (325) 2 Silk Scrap (300) 1 Potent Blood (325) End chest: 70c Blue :/ So the end chest was worthless as usual, but I'm glad to see that butter, bananas and chocolate aren't in there all the time. And an Ori node on the way is always a nice bonus!

Yeah, I do this puzzle every day too. I love the little smuggler loot boxes along the way, and I just consider that random blue as something to salvage to add to my mats collection. Dorre

Finally got around to doing another of these. Here we go: Trip there: 1 Omnomberry 1 Orichalcum 2 Mithril 1 Cypress Chests: 1 Vicious Claw (400) 1 Incandescent Dust (325) 1 Bay Leaf 3 Chocolate 5 Gossamer Scraps (2 chests) 50 Orichalcum Harvesting Sickle End Chest: 1s blue again Those harvesting sickles surprised me. No complaints though. I've thought about just salvaging the end blues as well Dorre, but I decided it's only worth it if I have a chance for Ori ore. Granted this is looking at it from a pure profit standpoint. If you need the mats for crafting then that may be different. Just hate to salvage something that sells for a silver and end up with a mithril ore that sells for 18c.

Trip there: 1 Omnom 1 Ori 6 Mithril (! literally 3 of them were clustered at the bottom of the jumping puzzle and two were next to each other outside in the water on the way there. Awesome.) Chests: 2 Incandescent dust (325, 2 chests) 6 Silk scraps (3 chests) 1 Large bone (300) 2 Thick leather sections End chest: Same old, same old Also, I blame playing my asura too much and swapping back to my charr to do a jumping puzzle for the fall to my death. 2nd trip there: 2 Mithril 1 Omnom 1 Orrian sapling 1 Cypress sapling 2 Crocus So not all bad, just took a slightly longer route to get there. Makes me think I should be taking a more roundabout circuit all the time. Will take a few minutes longer, but there's a lot of good stuff to grab in the area. Might have to try that out.

I tried the longer route this time, I like it. Only took about 3 extra minutes and I got 5 bonus gathering nodes. Good deal. Trip there: 7 Mithril 1 Ori 1 Orrian sapling 1 Cypress 2 Omnom 2 Crocus Chests: 1 Large bone (300 1 Ancient bone (400) 1 Almond 1 Vicious Fang (400) 3 Thick leather sections (2 chests) 1 Large claw (325) End chest: Green pistol worth 1s26c So yay, not a blue in the end chest again. And 2 400 level crafting mats. Cheap ones, but hey, free mats are free mats.

Just thought I'd throw a quick update on here. I think from all the times I've done this jumping puzzle I can safely say that the items are all going to generally be the same. You'll get ore and wood and some cooking ingredients on the run there, and you get some crafting mats in the pirate chests inside. Occasionally you might get something different, but in general this is how it'll work out. However I do want to point out that the end chest gives a much better reward after this last patch. Last night I got three green items from mine: 2 weapons that I sold to an npc for about 1s50c each, and a gem that sold on the tp for almost 4s. I thought it was worth the 10 minutes to run this before, but its even better now. Good luck!
