I'm just curious if anyone would be interested in lower level fractals. All my characters are under level 10 and i've never participated in a 10+ so i'm hoping to get some of my characters up to 10.
I'm on typically between 2pm-5 or 6pm server time if anyone wants in some fun.

if i hop on during that time i will definitely hit you up, however, i have never been in any fractals at all. :)
I've run through a level 13 or so once, but my level is still only 2, so I'd be glad to run with you guys... My time on varies, but I'm available, pretty much, any day, any time, other than 2-9 p.m. Central Mon-Th and 11-4 Central Fri... Drop me a line in-game and, if I'm not otherwise occupied with something I can't bail on, I'll come with ya...

As long as you have a lvl 80 toon with end-game gear and have dungeon experience with how groups work together, you can run fractals in the teens without worry. You do not necessarily have to do them linear. the "level" difficulty will be increased for each successful run as long as the fractal is equal/higher than your current level.
Level 10 will start adding "agony" that the bosses can put on you. You can buy the ascended items either with fractal-chits, or laurels, or even the WvW chits (I believe)... as long as it has an infusion slot, you can then enter the Fractal staging area and purchase the infusion from the last vendor-bot in the row that will give you +5 Agony resistance (AR) on the item. Even just 5 will make it feel like a normal hit at low levels... you will want more the higher you go.
You can "shake off" the agony, and some you can dodge... thus not necessarily to be able to complete/compete if you do not yet have the chits. IIRC it is 50 chits for the infusion, and you get 60 chits for a 4-map (even number difficulty) run.

Yeah, for anyone still a little wary of running fractals over 10 as a first-timer... Don't worry.. My first run was a lv 14 or so and it went fine.. Actually had fewer deaths than I've seen in normal dungeons, and the people I ran with said we ended up with two of the more difficult fractals.
Difficulty shouldn't be a barrier.. As stated above, as long as you're 80, have decent partying skills, and at least some familiarity with dungeon runs (and decent gear, of course) it shouldn't be a problem.. When I ran my first I had ZERO agony resistance, and I still never died to anything agony resistance would've helped against. As long as you're in lv 80 gear (preferably mostly exotics, but when I ran, armor and weapon were the only exotics I had) you're fine.
Time and experience are the only real barriers, and as long as at least one person in the party knows what he's doing, the experience part can easily be worked around. Time, on the other hand, well we can't just create extra time for ya, but we would if we could :)
In short, if you're even a little curious about fractals and some of the rewards possible from them, give it a shot, they aren't as bad as some people seem to think.

If anyone is still on at 8 server on Fridays (ideal time for those of us with small children) I run an event. We typically have a group doing a low teen fractal and one doing under 10. It is a great way to learn and have fun.
