0 seconds left on the timer, and we somehow pulled it off.  I must say it was the first time I actually shouted in triumph during a game.  Sorry folks out of time, still jumping up and down in excitement, will post screenshot/links later...and the process of inserting an image is a bit confusing to me lol.  Big thanks to everyone who came out and struggled through the fight.  You guys are amazing!  Can't believe I'm the first to post it oO

And apparently all I got was a screenshot of me standing over the reward chest.  Yes not much to see and a bit disappointing but I did promise a screenshot!

And the late night crew has done it as well! 110 on Raidcall and Teq dropped with 1:26 left on the timer. So much cheering to be had. Grats guys!

HECK YEAH thanks for posting soren that was an amazing event and such a good coordination from the leaders on the server as well as everyone who was there! Great job everyone:)

I got a screenshot of the second kill as well. My game was crashing constantly and having some trouble dealing with all those people on the screen, so the armor visuals all went to placeholders, but it's still cool.

It's a tough fight, but it's really fun. We cut close on our first attempt, but completed with plenty of time left on the second one. I honestly believe we can do even better with more specialized groups. All in all, it's worth giving it a try, there's nothing like that on the game anywhere else.

I got to be in on the first success against Teq. and I must say, it was a rush. Hubby and I were involved in attempt after attempt, determined to stick it out. No, we didn't get some uber title or gear, we just finally got to be in on a world "first" and it was awesome.  I would very humbly ask that people remember that when you are involved in huge events like this and wear the guild tag what you say reflects on everyone wearing that tag, that includes in map chat.  It really isn't a rule of ANet or anyone else that you had to be on voice chat and threats are never a good thing, like saying you will report someone if they are not in voip but want to work a turret during that battle.  Just sort of poor form, you know?  This is a game, after all. It can get intense but it is still just a game and games are meant to be fun for everyone not just a handful.  Other than a handful of folks being wound too tight  that you come to expect from folks during big events it was still a totally awesome, fun day!  =)
