Hello everyone.

It's me, Valtyrian.

I just took the plunge and got myself a copy of Guild Wars 2. was feeling depressed the last few days and buying something always cheers me up. so i thought I'd get myself something that will help me connect with the Family again. having joined in Chapter 3 Rift and was there till that chapter closed. I haven't really moved upward to the following ones yet. so here I am. moving on up to Chapter 4. I needed a side game to play along with Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, and sense this one is free to play, all the sweeter for me. well with that out of the way. I'm typing this as the game is downloading so once it finishes I'll be logging in to start creating my character and I wanna know were to create it so I can join in on the fun with everyone once again.

Welcome to GW2, hope it cheers you up. :) It doesn't really matter where/what race you use to create your character, all the areas have pretty much immediate access to go through a portal to get to Lion's Arch, which is a hub of portals to get to all the starter areas.

no I ment what world (server) what ever ya call it. I think it's sanctum of Rall. but I'm not 100% certain

It is Sanctum of Rall - as named after Roger "Oldroar" Rall... we shall never leave it either.  Never!!!

GW2 is a good game to start anytime because the gear curve is so flat.

okay got into the game. still messing around with various class's testing to see which one I like. learning this and that. still looking around the forums to see how to join the Tuatha channel in the game. if there is one. my only gripe is that the special items you get for getting the game is only given to 1 character. I should have read a little more closely before opening the mail. oh well
