For anyone who paid attention to the title at all, you can play around some with the game as it stands.
Pros: The game has some cool systems in place, such as 'Words of Power' which do a positive or negative effect and can even be guessed at *uses a system of letter groups which make up words of varying complexity to cause special effects from killing you to helping you to assorted mischief, and the curse system which can turn you into various creatures via those words or boss monsters killing you. I played a little as a cow (starter zone boss monster death effect) and found it interesting that even some of the gear available is specifically meant to boost your abilities as a cow... you get a new skill set for combat as an animal, and can even gain unique gathering skills for some animal forms. Some of the forms are valuable for combat, and some can give resources to other players (as a cow, somebody can request to milk you, and you give milk based upon your diet *if you eat the wrong stuff, the milk is pretty nasty it seems.*) Additionally most people don't like talking to talking animals, so your options for dialog change (and possibly even change based upon your species of animal.) There are many details in place which make things interesting in the world, including the entire population of NPCs running on a dating-sim model of personal care about you (you get quests, can give gifts, and etc. to help out with them liking you.) Finally, all the skills in the game are upped by doing the relevant tasks AND are how you gain stats and meet armor/weapon requirements.
Cons: The game is very grindy right now, and is definitely an unfinished product. Lag spikes are fairly common if certain things happen, and much of the game is about maximizing every single possible skill, because each one has possible stat boosts and synergy with your other skills.
Mixed: The game is highly about learning things on your own, or using a web search. The developers avoid hints as much as possible. Still, everything in terms of recipes, quests, events, etc. are very straight forward at this time, so a web search can completely negate that. Hardcore modes are available (perma-death) by signing a billboard in the first town area, and there are some odd warning systems for boss monsters (you get some 4th wall breaking effects there.)
